MY FRIENDS

I WAS THINKIN' My friends are so cool. Debbie is the one I want when I face an enemy and must react quickly. I don't think she is ever afraid of anyone or anything. And can that girl think on her feet!!!! Linda is so sweet. She knows just the right thing to say to slow down a confrontation. I am pretty sure I have never heard her intentionally hurt someone else -- except when defending someone she loves!! Elizabeth is a riot! She really prefers to stay hidden in the background. Which is quite a shame since her quiet comments are worth repeating -- over and over. She has that inner strength that quiet girls have. Catherine is sunshine and laughter. She often says the wrong thing, but she is always there to give support and sympathy. Even better, she is always ready to celebrate. Celebrate what? Well, what have you got? Katrina is a whirlwind. She's so smart she blows me away. I can't always keep up with her. She is like a comet ready to set the world on fire. Miriam. She is the absolute jewel in the garden of girls. She's smart. She's kind. She's strong. She's sweet. She's quiet. Miriam is a unique blend of all my favorite friends. She is my hero and someone I long to be like. I didn't realize that my daughter could be someone I would want to be so much like. Friends should be different and they should bring us joy, laughter, comfort, and challenge. I hope your garden is full of such beauties as mine.
